The Parks, Recreation, and Special Events Department has an immediate opening for an Athletics & Aquatics Technician. If you would like to be a part of the team that is responsible for the City’s great athletic fields and beautiful swimming pool, we would like to hear from you!
Job responsibilities include:
Maintains our municipal pool including routine maintenance and maintaining the balanced water chemistry in accordance with State and local codes and regulations.- Maintains the equipment and supplies for the pool and athletics programs.
- Supports the Recreation Manager with preparing the athletic fields for upcoming tournaments, leagues, and specialty programs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED equivalent. • Must be able to obtain the Texas Structural Pest Control License and/or the Pool and Spa Certification within one year of employment. • Must have good knowledge and proper use of chemicals for the pool and pesticides for the grounds. • Must have a valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.
