What are the responsibilities and job description for the Amusements Supervisor position at City Park Conservancy?
SUMMARY: Oversees the Amusements Team Leaders and Amusements Attendants. Provides assistance to Amusements Manager, Assistant Director and Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:
- Serve as guest first point of contact for the Amusement Park/Storyland
- Respond to customer concerns and provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
- Ensure all rides are properly and adequately staffed.
- Ensure a safe experience for all guests.
- Open and/or close the facility as required.
- Monitor and ensure satisfactory conditions and cleanliness of the entire facility.
- Monitor condition and level of inventory and equipment; process orders as necessary.
- Ensure that all labor and safety guidelines are being adhered to, during park operation.
- Responding to, facilitating and/or assisting with park safety incidents as a representative of management.
- Ensure that all staff are following policies and procedures.
- Assist cashiers with the preparation of cash reports.
- Prepares daily reports, reviews and audits time sheets..
- Conducts daily audits of ride operators to ensure a safe operation
- Plans and assigns work schedules effectively and fairly.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises all Ride Operators, Cashiers, and Team Leaders in the Amusement department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary : $35,300 - $44,600
