Job Posting for Emergency Medical Technician at City Shield Security Services, LLC

Detroit-based contract security provider City Shield Security Services is currently hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to work at an account in Detroit. Applicants must be certified EMTs and provide proof of a current license. Job duties will entail responding to accidents and medical calls on the footprint and communicating with out team and client.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide first-aid treatment, such as bandaging wounds.
  • Provide life support care, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), when needed.
  • Assess a patient’s conditions and provide initial treatment.
  • Determine whether a patient needs to go to an ER or a trauma center.
  • Communicate with other emergency services, such as firefighters and police officers, to respond to calls for help.

Requirements:

  • Must have a current/valid EMT license registered with the State of Michigan.
  • Must be 18 years old and able to pass a state and national background check.

Salary: $22.00 per hour
