CitySwing is an indoor golf studio located in downtown DC. We are a fast-growing startup aiming to help change the culture of golf and make the game more inclusive. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting exceptional cocktails, providing top-notch customer service, and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our establishment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a diverse range of beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Interact with customers in a friendly and attentive manner, providing recommendations, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations, including checking identification and refusing service when necessary
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Help clean and maintain studio facilities
• Position may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• All other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring ingredients and processing orders
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
• Relevant training certificates
• Availability to work flexible shifts (nights and weekends)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
