The Strategic Partnership Coordinator will work closely with the NV DFA Program Director to help identify and develop relationships with community partners, schools, and other organizations to achieve DFA Nevada Objectives.
Pay rate: $50,000 - 53,000/Year
Duties include:
Work closely with the State Director in the strategic planning, designing, supporting and implementing of program activities.
Assist State Director in building internal systems to measure, report data and track progress towards voter engagement and/or voter registration program efforts.
Assist State Director with the June Primary Election Program.
Assist State Director in recruitment of a canvassing team.
Collaborate with state-wide partners to increase engagement of stakeholders and communities through education and coalition building strategies.
Work closely with IVE Director to design and implement events to encourage informed and active voter engagement through base building activities including community events, training, and direct community outreach.
Building and maintaining relationships with government entities, and officials to further DFA NV program goals and to drive voter education, lobbying and/or advocacy issue campaigns.
Developing relationships with local high schools and other educational institutions to increase opportunities for student engagement with DFA Nevada.
Lead efforts focused on fostering a culture of youth civic engagement through the facilitation of training workshops. Guide the development of team members and volunteers to effectively lead voter registration and volunteer-led organizing efforts.
