What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP FICO Consultant position at CIYIS?
We are seeking a SAP Finance expert to become an integral part of our consulting team @ CIYIS! The SAP Finance Expert will be to ensure our client's financial, costing, funds management, and project systems processes are accurate and fully compatible with standards and regulations. A successful candidate must be a practical SAP Central Finance with integration to Funds Management, Project Systems, and Budgeting with a thorough knowledge of Treasury’s United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) updates and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical support as well as professional accounting expertise to facilitate the conduct analysis of general ledger and accounting data. This shall include the reconciliation of specific general ledger accounts, groups of accounts, and require the analysis of various entry points, posting models, and the identification of missing or erroneous data related to financial system interfaces to and from SAP.
- Provide functional and technical support as well as professional accounting expertise in Cost Management and Cost Allocation processes to include Rule Based Account Assignment and Project Settlement.
- Assists the agency in establishing the applicable system requirements and master data required to distribute the agency’s indirect costs.
- Assists with resolving cost management issues and makes recommendations to improve cost management processes and procedures.
- Analyze the SAP Custom Settlement error reports and resolve issues
- Analyze RBAA distribution issues
- Identify RBAA and Settlement rules issues and recommending solutions
- Manage the SAP Cost Management internal actions items
- Monitor and analyze unsettled costs and recommend solutions for any issues.
- Perform year-end activities to establish Cost Management rules for the new fiscal year.
- Assist with other Cost Management processes with departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in various SAP modules to include FICO with integration to Funds Management, Grantor, Project Systems and/or Budgeting.
- 5 years’ experience managing teams
Educational & Work Qualifications:
- 4 Year degree in business administration, operations management, computer science and/or related field.
- U.S Citizen.
