What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Sales Consultant position at CKE KONE Inc. (Canada)?
The Service Sales Consultant's role is to proactively build and maintain relationships with owners as well as owner representatives. This role manages the accounts of existing customers through various contact points and is also responsible for retaining and expanding the existing portfolio by selling maintenance and digital related solutions. Additionally, the successful candidate generates modernization solutions leads.
Your main Responsibilities include :
Customer relationship management
- Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility
- Is accountable for developing KONE position in his/her customer base or market area Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g. cross-selling)
- Ensures customer satisfaction and solves complaints with the rest of KONE team
- Documents the customer and contact information, maintains customer data
Selling
- Proactively generates opportunities from outside current customer base,
- Is accountable for leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets
- Is accountable for finding customer needs and that KONE’s solution matches with the needs Is responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools, and for optimizing prices and discounts within his/her authority
- Validates that the contents of the contract are in line with the negotiation process outcome Maintains full information of opportunities, tasks and visits (sales funnel management) Responsible for timely and accurate reporting in CRM
- Responsible for gathering relevant information about market and competitors from the field Supports the finance function in money collection.
- Drives execution of her/his individual sales plan
To be successful in this job, we expect you to have :
Experience
· Sales and / or customer service experience
· Experience with solution selling methodology
· Experience with (selling) complex technology solutions
· Experience with KONE customers’ industries is a plus
· Basic digital skills and mindset
Education
· Previous 1-3 years sales, marketing or related experiences preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred or equivalent work experience.
· Preferred areas of study are: Business, Management, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Communications and Liberal Arts
