Analyst I, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - Medical Billing

What you'll do... As the Analyst I for Medical Billing, you will manage the bill review processes by researching and interpreting workers’ compensation state fee schedules, laws, and regulations, and applying them to current processes or implementing new processes if needed. You will research data element requirements and validate system outputs to ensure compliance with medical EDI reporting requirements. You will provide oversight to medical review vendor processors by ensuring vendors comply with contractual obligations and WCS policies and procedures. You’ll make an impact by… Developing strong relationships within the Managed Care and Case Management teams Researching and incorporating state medical fee schedule requirements into processes and documented procedures. Ensure bill review software has expected outputs. Mitigate disputes, penalties and identify positive trends to maximize savings. Having the ability to navigate competing priorities and triage issues. Possessing strong verbal and written communication skills. Being able to articulate and make strategic recommendations to leadership. You’ll sweep us off our feet if… You have previous Workers Compensation bill review experience and/ or CPT coding experience. You have a certified profession coder (CPC) certification.
