POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for creating a welcoming first impression to our guest, residents, and those you encounter. Monitoring those who enter the community and ensure they sign in using our Accushield machine. Answering/directing telephone calls, maintain the cleanliness of the front lobby area, and assist with maintaining resident information and complete data entry for other departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide ongoing telephone coverage and greeting with a warm and welcoming response.
2. Create a warm first impression to those who enter the community and whom you encounter
3. Solve issues or concern for those whom may need assistance that are limited to your position.
4. Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery.
5. Maintain visitor log-in sheets or software. (We use Accushield)
6. Maintain security for admittance to all entries accessible to public.
9. Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff.
10. Ensure lobby area is kept neat and clean. Pick up debris and keep desk work area clutter free.
11. Assist Business Office Manager with projects/assignments and other department with project or requests.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Associates degree preferred
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION OR OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Covid Vaccine Card Required
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.
- Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills.
- Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to multi-task, balance team and individual responsibilities, and respond promptly to
- Navigate Computer Software and other programs
