The Opportunity:
Clarion is entering an exciting phase in its evolution as it introduces a whole new approach to using data and technology across the group, to support delivering excellent customer outcomes. To strengthen the team, we are looking for an experienced IT Scrum Master to manage the delivery of multiple projects and product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible for working with the application development teams working on different initiatives to define scope, effort, resource, and timelines for project delivery
•Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time and within budget
•Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
•Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
•Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g., from customers, stakeholders, partners)
•Work with product owner’s/ business stakeholders to handle backlogs and new requests
•Ensure the appropriate technical designs are created to understand and manage risk, technical complexity, and future proofing.
•Identify, document and address risks, issues, or scheduling conflicts.
•Help teams implement changes effectively
•Build quality into delivery. Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
•Use Jira, Confluence and other tools, drive adaption, help and guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
•Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
•Manage capacity and future forecasting for both you and the scrum team
Knowledge, skills and experience:
•3 years of experience in a scrum master role
•Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
•Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
•Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
•Outstanding organizational skills
•Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle
•Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
•Good knowledge of technical architecture
•Demonstrable capability of understand complex technical landscapes
•Partners with Stakeholders has the desire to work co-operatively with all stakeholders to meet mutual goals and seeks out and shares inputs from others
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
•Degree qualification in Computer Science, Business, or similar field
•Scrum master certification is a plus
