SR. PROJECT MANAGER

Position Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless and successful enterprise software implementation in an Agile environment and has a complete understanding of the clients’ business needs. The Project Manager leads a client-facing, cross-functional implementation team including product consultants, business analysts, QA analysts, engineers, and more in the design and development of client solutions. The Project Manager is responsible for the entire implementation, coordinating with clients and executive leadership to deliver on-time enterprise implementations.

This is a remote work position.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Act as primary client point of contact throughout the implementation process
• Ensure project scope is fully defined internally and establish client expectations regarding communications, implementation requirements, and methodology, etc. prior to project kick-off
• Guide clients through implementation to meet milestones, ensuring accurate application and data configurations, resolving any quality risks or defects, and identifying solutions for all identified business problems
•  Lead internal cross-functional implementation team in development and execution of project plans, adhering to processes to track and resolve issues and keep client and internal stakeholders fully informed and aligned on potential challenges or changes to project timeline, scope, and cost
• Position may require the employee to travel 20% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and PMP certification preferred
• 3 – 5 years of project management experience
• Payment integrity experience (preferred)
• Technology implementation experience in enterprise software platform (preferred)
• Experience with Agile, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, and Microsoft products (preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, especially in a virtual environment
• Enjoys getting “in the weeds” and pursues problems until resolved
• Highly developed customer service/people skills
• Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills, including a wide range of computing issues
• Excels at juggling multiple tasks/demands simultaneously
• Team-first orientation: must thrive in a collaborative, team-based work environment
• Able to absorb and retain information quickly
• Strong attention to detail
• Thrives in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of a growing company
