Description
Position Summary
The Claritas Intern is responsible for supporting work on custom analytics projects with focus on finding answers to client’s business questions. These are part-time, paid Internships, targeting approximately 20 hours per week. School comes first! We are flexible with work schedules to accommodate academic schedules and obligations for those Interns working during the school year.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with client and Claritas data, manipulate and analyze raw data from a variety of sources, develop models.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and develop business recommendations.
- Develop client-ready deliverables in a visually appealing format harnessing the right data within the relevant business context.
Qualifications
Skills, Education and Experience
Required:
- Working towards completion of bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Business Administration, or related field, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail
- Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience with primary and secondary data (understanding, extraction, manipulation, insights generation)
Highly preferred:
- Experience with Python/SQL; data mining skills such as factor and cluster analysis; machine learning is a plus.
