We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our Web of Science team. The team is in the process of creating a true “Web of Science” by leveraging our different products and data sets, and by crafting a beautiful product experience. You will play a critical role in defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and business model for new data and content sets, launching new products within the Web of Science platform. You will possess a blend of big-picture vision, technical savvy, and the drive to make that vision a reality. If you have experience in digital product management in an agile environment, passionate about data-driven decision making, developing a deep understanding of user needs, and developing elegant and beautiful solutions, then we would love to talk with you! About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field 5 years of experience working with digital product management experience in an agile environment 5 years of experience working with complex / large scale data It would be great if you also had... Experience working with a mature product, that has a lot of users/customers Experience working with clients globally Proven track record of developing and launching new products in productivity technology, edtech, or related industries with a focus on the end-user and/or efficient workflows Ability to work collaboratively with different teams Strong negotiation skills Ability to foresee, interpret and rapidly respond to market changes by adjusting strategies and realigning priorities accordingly What will you be doing in this role? Define and deliver the product roadmap for the data and content workstream within the Web of Science Manage product managers and junior product managers in the data and content workstream Collaborate with the Web of Science team to define our shared product strategy and create business cases for future investment in Web of Science Lead product development through the entire lifecycle: ideation, prototyping, development, release, analysis, and iteration Track evolving user needs, industry trends, and competitor activity, and develop a nuanced understanding of researcher workflows and pain points. Define, test, and validate innovative solutions in R&D phases through user testing, A/B testing, prototypes, etc. Build strong partnerships with internal product, technology, marketing, and sales teams to scope, define, and execute and take to market new product features Define KPIs and customer outcomes to measure success About the Team This role is in the Web of Science product team, in the Academic and Government business unit. Externally, you will work with customers and partners of our hosted content. Internally, you will work with the Leadership team, Commercial teams, Technology, User Experience, and Marketing. This team works on several different projects at a time, that range in size. On the Product team there are 9 people in total, including 2 direct reports for this position. This role will also work directly with a Technology Scrum team that has 6-8 Developers on it.
