Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. Our graphic designers use their artistic abilities to communicate ideas and market to consumers based off information provided by our customers to translate that information to print production. Our graphic designers must understand DESIGN TO PRINT. Our designers must be strong listeners and able to translate information to reflect in their design initiatives. Time management and effective communication between customers and internal departments are essential to performing at a high level in this role.
Qualification & Skills:
Degree/education in graphic design (Required)
Understanding of graphic design with translation to print (Required)
High level of proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (Required)
Strong communication and listening skills
Willingness to take direction and constructive criticism
Ability to work with challenging customers in a professional manner
Ability to think “outside the box”
Duties & Responsibilities to Department:
Main functions:
Performing design services from scratch with client ideas or working with provided art files to achieve highest levels of quality for production.
Do design and layout work as well as preflighting and repair of customer art.
Deliver proofs and art files through the network as appropriate to customer service or proofing/plating department.
Work to troubleshoot and repair any art files as needed during print proofing and set up.
Back up functions:
Maintain clean work area.
Be willing to help in other areas in the plant including mail room, bindery, and shipping, as needed when no work is available in design department.
Being assertive and a pro-active part of progressing the design department.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
