Job Posting for Lead Maintenance - Building Operations at Clark County Government
Clark County (Indiana) Government is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Lead Maintenance Team Member. A detailed job description is attached.
In summary, the person in this position is responsible for helping to maintain Clark County Government buildings and grounds that do not have their own maintenance department. Duties include performing maintenance of building and grounds, working with other staff and vendors, operating a variety of tools and responding to emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
Skills include the relative and working knowledge of maintenance practices, building upkeep, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical trades, with the ability to complete renovation / repairs, analyze and diagnose malfunctions while applying and demonstrating all best practices in safety measures. A license or certification such as electrical, HVAC and/or plumbing is beneficial but not required.
Must be able to physically perform maintenance duties including standing/walking for long periods, moderate to heavy lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling objects, reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and others as listed and requested.
