Job Overview:
Small well established law office looking for a personable and great first impression receptionist and administrative assistant. This position will require greeting clients and walk-ins, answering the phones and assisting with various other entry level office tasks. Legal office experience is preferred but not required.
Duties:
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with proofreading and editing documents
- Provide support to other team members as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in using computerized systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Excellent calendar management skills
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle incoming calls professionally
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
