The Clarkson College General Education Program is seeking to create a pool of Physics and Organic Chemistry Adjunct Instructors who are passionate about facilitating student learning through effective teaching strategies grounded in evidence-based practice in science education.
Teaching responsibilities would include in-person lectures and labs during afternoon or evening hours. Physics courses would start AY 24-25 and Organic Chemistry courses would start AY 25-26.
The adjunct faculty members will demonstrate commitment to the Clarkson College mission and values to support student success.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in physics, chemistry, or related field.
- Teaching experience in physics, chemistry, or related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate as part of a team with diverse constituents required.
- Higher education teaching experience preferred.
- Experience with curriculum development preferred.
