What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Recycling position at Classic Packaging Company?
At Classic Packaging we make a lot of different products. From garment packaging to food packaging. Each time we make a product we generate unused plastic film and cardboard and it has to go somewhere. Our recycling techs take that excess and dispose of it in various manners depending on the type of product it is. The people that perform this entry-level function in our warehouse have a great impact on our performance as a company by allowing us to recoup some of the loss that normally occurs in manufacturing.
Duties
- Separate and bale excess film and cardboard.
- Assist in daily facilities maintenance.
- Disposing of excess and rejected product.
- Transport excess film and products from machines to recycling station.
