As a Resource Manager, your role is to develop and maintain healthy, strongly staffed teams capable of delivering excellent client experiences. You’ll own adjusting resource allocations to ensure high resource utilization, and that each project manager has the right resources at the right time.
You’ll also be working as a liaison between the sales team and our production division, drawing in discipline leaders and project managers for the insights you need to make effective decisions. This is a collaborative role, involving high discernment, problem-solving, and negotiating skills to best accommodate all internal constraints and client timelines across a multitude of projects and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high team member utilization and profitability
- Work with the hiring team to recruit new team members
- Develop and grow partnerships with outsourcing partners
- Evaluate candidate profiles and conduct interviews
- Generate resource proposals and timelines for sales opportunities
- Work with project managers to set and update resource allocations
- Review PTO requests for coverage gaps prior to approval
- Provide weekly revenue and capacity updates to the Director of Resource Management
- Serve as project manager on internal company projects as needed
Required Skills, Abilities and Characteristics:
- Strong self-leadership and understanding of business concepts
- Effective time management and commitment tracking
- Sound decision-making involving unknowns and probabilities
- Passion for complex problem solving and win-win solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience coordinating numerous details concurrently
- 3 years of experience in resource management or coordination
- 2 years of experience in fast-paced, multi-faceted environments
- High proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
