Clay County Missouri has an administrative opportunity at our Road & Bridge department for an Administrative Assistant II position. This is a highly responsible position that provides executive-level administrative and clerical support. The Administrative Assistant II will work independently under the general direction of the Administrative Supervisor and the Road & Bridge Director with a primary purpose to provide information management support and serve as a liaison between the administrator, key management personnel, and employees.
The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices, have one to three years of increasingly responsible related experience, and be legally licensed and insured to drive a motor vehicle under normal conditions. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, databases, spreadsheets and other office forms, and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing is preferred.
A starting hourly salary of $ 19.70- $ 22.00 plus benefits is dependent on experience. The employee benefits package includes
