Clay County Missouri has an opportunity in the Prosecutors Office for someone with working knowledge of computers and electronic data processing as a Clerk. The Clerk provides clerical and administrative support regarding the processing of criminal cases within the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Processing legal and confidential material, organizing, coordinating, and processing information, entering data in computer and any other paperwork required to process a criminal file
The ideal candidate has an intermediate skill level with Excel and Word and a high school diploma or equivalent. The candidate will also need to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and be able to handle detailed and stressful situations in an appropriate manner.
The employee will receive an hourly salary of $17.00 with a benefits package that includes two defined benefit retirement plans fully funded by the County and a deferred-compensation plan with a match on the first 4% contributed. We also offer three medical plans including two high deductible plans, dental, vision, two flexible spending accounts, and supplemental plans. Full-time employees are also offered life insurance (2X annual salary) paid by the County, paid vacation/sick leave, 14 paid holidays, LTD and tuition reimbursement.
