The Opportunity:
Clean Harbors in Braintree, MA. is looking for Medical Courier to join the team. The Medical Courier known internally as the InSite Technician. The Medical Courier is responsible for collecting medical waste within customer site and depositing the materials to their proper storage area within the facility. You will be responsible for proper packing, offloading and disposition materials to a Clean Harbors facility. Outstanding customer service is a must. This is a great entry level opportunity
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Conduct chemical bulking/consolidation as required
- Proper packaging of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance
- Ensure work area maintained in a neat and orderly manner
- Participate in spill response on customer's site as needed
- Attend all compliance and safety update meetings
- Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance
- Safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift at least 50lb
- Experience with handling hazardous materials is a plus but not required
