Sales Development Manager / Unique Opportunity
Holbrook, NY

Position available for a self starting, experienced, driven individual to join our niche technical company that fabricates and sells clean room environments.

Job Description:
The Sales Development Manager is responsible for selling Company product lines and services for current and potential customers, ie: Fortune 500, Medical institutions, Universities, and Tech Industry leaders, while generating new business.
The Sales Development Manager uses technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support to our clients. Work with the fabrication department to provide quotes to customers, resolve customer issues and oversee project development. The Sales Development Manager works to develop and promote the Company’s positive image and status within the industry and with current / potential customers.

Responsibilities: What you will do

  • Prospect for new customers to effectively grow your book of business
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationship
  • Some sales leads are supplied. Additional leads are required to be generated via industry contacts and online and social media marketing platforms
  • Research current and potential customers to understand their business, and educate them on the value of working with our team
  • Develop proficiency with the company’s portfolio of products, services and solutions with on-the-job training assistance to prepare you in the sales development process
  • Work to develop and promote the Company’s positive image/status in the clean room industry and with current / potential customers
  • Collaborate with peers and industry partners to bring the best technology & solutions to our customers

What you will need to succeed:

  • Strong communicational skills, both oral and written
  • Basic knowledge of mathematical measurements & calculations
  • Technically minded and capable with the ability to absorb technical aspects & information
  • Strong self-motivator and natural leader, able to drive towards a target
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relation to the internet and social media, plus Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Solid organization and priority management skills

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Outside Sales

  • HEPA Filtration Knowledge
  • Air Exchange, Flow and Replacement
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships, generate and close sales
  • Oversee customer project payments and customer collections, as needed
  • Project management , from sale through fabrication and product delivery

Inside Sales Rep

  • Create and Deliver Proposals and RFQ’s to potential customers
  • Effectively communicate project specifications with technicians
  • Establish and maintain goodwill between the Company and customer
  • Track Jobs Sold, Project manage the process start to finish
  • Telemarketing, Internet marketing
  • General knowledge of office machines and office flow

** Training regarding product details will be provided , our expectation is that the individual applying for the job is self-driven to learn above and beyond in order to facilitate the sale and follow-up of the product line.
