Job Summary:

Portland Cleaning Crew is seeking an experienced Residential Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee our company's day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of our business. We are seeking a dynamic leader to help manage, develop, and support our growth while maintaining our excellent standards!

70% Cleaning Time - You will be spending most of your time cleaning; 30% Trainer/Supervisor

Job Description
As Operations Manager, you will provide leadership to all areas within the company including operations, customer service, safety, training and administrative functions. Upholding our values, you will be supportive to all customers and employees. In addition, you are responsible for controlling costs and maintaining high quality standards that exceed the customer and company standards.

You are a proactive leader and self-starter who can interact with the public and our employees. You have a strong work ethic and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have at least three years of supervisory experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational personnel: a growing team of (3) Lead Cleaners, and (5) Cleaners.
  • Drive the company supply van as needed and resupply cleaners on a weekly basis.
  • Keep the lines of communication open between the customer, teams and the office
  • Observe and evaluate workers' performance to ensure quality service and compliance with work standards
  • Create and implement a training and onboarding program that encourages high standards and employee retention
  • Provide feedback to the team and build a positive atmosphere in the work place
  • Improve current processes to ensure quality, profitability, and growth
  • Manage client complaints and feedback to improve performance

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years management experience
  • Strong leadership aptitude
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Ability to cultivate strong customer relationships and employee loyalty through strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively throughout all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency, with working knowledge of word processing and minor technical troubleshooting

Qualities Preferred, but not Required:

  • High-end hospitality experience
  • Experience as a trainer
  • Experience creating and implementing processes
  • Cleaning management experience

Flexible work from home options available.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
