Manager, Infrastructure

As a member of the IT Operations team this position will partner with the Senior Director of IT Operation to plan, direct, and coordinate all activities related to Clear Capitals systems infrastructure in both our private and public clouds. While responsible for overall systems architecture and ownership of all systems infrastructure, you will also be an individual contributor on projects and engaged directly with the team as a contributing manager providing career guidance.

The Infrastructure Manager will ensure the availability, stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the IT systems that support the company's core organizational functions. This role will also ensure that hardware and software systems are designed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Operationally, this role will lead individuals in monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing IT infrastructure servers, storage, virtualization, endpoints, cloud and software systems. The Infrastructure Manager will apply proven communication, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and remediate issues while also discovering opportunities for improvements to maximize the benefit of IT solutions throughout the company.

What You Will Work On

• Architect, design and implement hybrid, cloud, and on-premise computing environments (Edge / Core / Cloud). Proficient in Amazon AWS.
• Responsible for the technical landscape cutover and production operational support spanning the entire lifecycle of all IT infrastructure and applications
• Provides comprehensive engineering, operations and maintenance support for the Infrastructure tool suite and other enterprise monitoring products
• Security first mindset ensures that all systems and applications follow a zero trust architecture.
• Work with a high-performing team solving tough problems by building quality enterprise solutions.
• Provides guidance to team members to encourage work productivity
• Ensures appropriate procedures and processes are followed when it comes to systems engineering.
• Mentor and coach team members with their career development and professional growth.
• Develop our hybrid cloud strategy.

Who We are Looking For

Managers who will not only contribute directly to the architecture and administration of our network, but also contribute to the career growth of the team.

• You have at least 10 years or more of Systems Engineering experience on most of our key technologies.
• You have experience in large hosting environments where uptime is critical
• You love tackling complicated problems, and value the correct solution over a sloppy one.
• Analytical thinker with a passion for challenges and problem solving
• Responsible for all business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) solutions. Design and implement Backup and Recovery solutions and Hybrid Cloud for speed, resiliency, and versatility.
• Manages the development of network design, and ongoing review of system configurations in collaboration with relevant team members.
• Perform IT implementations, performance analysis and optimization, monitoring, problem resolution, upgrade planning and execution, and process creation and documentation.
• Develops system and organizational roadmaps that ensure business and service continuity. Develops tactical plans and ensures execution of plans.
• Manages day-to-day Systems operations, escalations, ticketing and communications.
• Manages the development, documentation and implementation of operating procedures, and systems documentation, best practices, knowledge base, disaster recovery backup and recovery.
• Helps with financial planning and budgets for the Systems group.
• Manages vendor relationships and negotiates and manages vendor service agreements.
• Leads the systems team in troubleshooting and appropriate resources to respond to major problems and incidents to ensure resolution. Provides leadership and direction through technical subject matter expertise to team members.
• Evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity. Responsible for employee development, including hiring, cross training, retention and performance evaluations of staff.
• You are a great communicator, comfortable to interact with your own direct reports as well as executive team members, and seek constructive feedback on your work.
• You are a change agent, and pursue continuous improvement in technology, process and teams.

• You are passionate about helping people to achieve their goals, and love coaching and mentoring team members.
• Previous systems management experience is a plus.
