POSITION: Seeking experienced MASTER auto glass technician (must have 10 years of auto glass experience) to manage (and have experience managing others) all the company auto glass jobs, technicians and operations of the auto glass side of the company. Candidate needs to be clean cut, understand importance of customer service and live central or west valley. Shop is in Glendale and would be difficult if candidate lived too far from shop. Must be honest and able to handle difficult customers and be a team player at all times.

Other job responsibilities include:

· So important that this candidate be a MASTER auto glass technician (i.e. have experience and know correctly how to install all auto glass, RV windshields, sunroofs, etc). You cannot effectively manage other auto glass technicians if you do not know and understand what they do.

· Certified recalibration technician (we use all AUTEL scan tools). You must be able to complete any vehicle recalibration.

· Effectively route 20-30 jobs each day with our full-time and some sub technicians (we use Omega software)

· Overseeing all auto glass installs/recals (including making sure we are getting all jobs covered)

· Overseeing all auto glass warranty issues from start to finish – sometimes using original techs and other times personally handling them

· Overseeing all parts in shop/vans (including dealer) and making sure we have zero inventory. (We have a full-time shop part/technician, you will oversee him as well)

· Be the ‘go to guy’ for any daily challenges and issues (i.e. pick up needed/missed parts for jobs that day, help on difficult installs, two man sets, etc.)

· This job is hands on. Installing is not the most important part of the job but you need to be willing to help technicians install and jump in van at times to make sure jobs are covered

This manager would need to arrive by 6:30am each morning and make sure the guys get loaded up and begin their day. Be able to support office team with auto glass part related questions, get on the phone and speak to customers when needed about warranty issues and be able to work well with others.
