The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and analysis of financial data and reporting for internal and external use.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs routine data extraction, analysis, compilation, and reporting on financial and productivity data associated with multiple medical practices.
- Demonstrates an ability to evaluate, understand, and manage the accuracy, completion, and integrity of all data and related analyses and reporting.
- Provides analysis and explanation of financial trends, benchmarks, and variation. Conducts research and data verification necessary to produce accurate and complete financial data and reporting.
- Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency utilizing the Company’s financial and business information systems and software programs, including Acrobat, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Paylocity, Athena and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, time management, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to enable the timely and efficient coordination and completion of tasks, projects, work assignments, and goals.
- Effective knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial applications and reporting, including but not limited to general ledger, payroll reports, and financial statements, to enable the timely and accurate analysis, compilation, and/or creation of related calculations and reporting.
- High degree of proficiency in verbal and written communication, professional etiquettes, and interpersonal relations in dealing with all levels of personnel and management.
EXPERIENCE
- Preferred: 2 years’ experience in financial analysis and/or related accounting, management, or decision support areas.
- Minimum: 2 years’ business experience with working knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and decision support responsibilities.
SPECIAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in the extraction, analysis, and reporting of healthcare related data using Microsoft Excel and Power BI applications.
- Minimum: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
