Monday – Friday from 8:30 am - 3:15 pm
Floor Supervisor
Provide direct assistance to individuals with IDD to acquire work skills and attitudes beneficial for specific occupations in the competitive labor market.
FUNCTION:
- Use instruction to develop appropriate work ethics, habits, and interpersonal skills necessary for gainful employment.
- Highlight expectations of the work environment so that individuals can progress into a higher-level program, or into competitive employment.
- Supervise individual/group activities, assess progress, and recommend adjustments in the individual’s assignments.
- Be physically present with the clients in the work area.
- Provide support by taking small groups of individuals into the community for outings
(volunteer or educational activities) which promote social interaction among peers in the community.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Assist other staff to maintain and enhance better performance for individuals.
- Provide quality service to individuals as well as maintaining standards of the establishment.
- Evaluate and monitor tasks by delivering assistance to individuals if necessary.
- Maintain communication with staff and provide caring service for all assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with the Director to provide assurance for exceptional quality of services provided to individuals in the program.
- Ensure flawless professional behavior to all individuals.
- Adhere to the company dress code.
- Attend all staff meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- PA driver’s license
- Satisfactory clearances
