Licensed professional counselor with generalist clinical skills. Emphasis on intake assessment and psychodiagnosis. Adheres to Practitioner-Scholar model with multicultural competency. Other duties as assigned. May need to utilize tele-mental health as modality.
JOB DUTIES:
60% - Essential - Direct Services - Clinical
Provides clinical services to clients with emphasis on intake assessments. Makes recommendations for treatment modality. Utilizes assessment instruments as indicated by the presenting problem.
30% - Essential - Administrative Duties - Documentation
Completes all clinical documentation in the electronic health record in compliance with the documentation time lines. Completes all necessary documentation to assist clients and as required by CAPS.
5% - Essential - Direct Services - Consultation
In response to requests, engages in consultation relative to internal and external psychological needs.
5% - Essential - Professional Development
Maintains licensure. At all times, adheres to the American Psychological Association's (APA) Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Ethics as well as the American Counseling Association Code of Ethics. Adheres to Joint Commission accreditation status.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs. Work Exp 1 years.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Master's Degree; Licensed as LPC in the State of South Carolina (or license-eligible). Will consider recent graduates in need of post - licensure supervision.

Required to respond during an emergency closure or modified operations in order to provide the University's initial response to the emergency situation, including the execution of mission essential functions. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
