EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Performs as a Court Compliance Ambassador by assisting customers in the Payment Plan Office.Assists Court Specialist Lead and management team with quality control overall departmental efficiency and procedural development as needed.Assists customers with questions in person, over the phone, and through email.Interact with a wide range of customers, including: law enforcement, defense counsel, prosecutors, defendants, and probation officers.Conduct criminal history checks by reviewing both current and archived records.Research and respond timely to requests received from FDLE and the FBI for records related to pending firearm transactions. Receive and cashier payments for criminal fines and fees, services charges, criminal traffic and ordinance violations; reinstates driver's licenses.Review applications requesting a finding of indigency and make the appropriate finding based upon federal poverty guidelines.Scans and updates over-the-counter citations.Sets court hearings.Assist customers in setting up court ordered payment plans.Provide payments to subpoenaed witnesses appearing for deposition or testimony before the court.Receive and process pleadings filed over the counter by self-represented individuals or probation officers.Review daily reports to ensure customers receive satisfactions of judgments and affidavits to reinstate driver’s license. Provides statistical reports; runs collections process and payoff requests; performs other customer service related functions.
