Associate Program Director – Dental Residency Program
Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital (CCMH) is currently seeking candidates for an Associate Program Director of our Dental Residency Program. The program, founded in 2007, trains five residents per year in a one or two-year rotation.
Candidates must possess a DDS or DMD degree, have completed post-doctoral training in dentistry and be eligible for State of Ohio Dental Licensure and applicable hospital credentialing. Prior experience in teaching, community-based care, and demonstration of scholarly activity are strongly preferred.
The Associate Program Director (APD) will have multiple levels of support and engagement with the Program Director, Director of Medical Education, Core Faculty, Office Manager, and administrative staff. The APD will provide administrative oversight and clinical/didactic instructorship, and will have various committee responsibilities. Coordinating the disciplines of dentistry for efficient and effective clinical operations is important, utilizing prospective and retrospective audits of both hospital and direct dental/medical records. Creating best practices for an educational experience for the residents and for the assessment of the continuing education of dental staff is an imperative.
Employment with CCMH offers outstanding benefits along with robust resources for professional development including leadership, education, and management tracks. Through these opportunities, the APD will have the chance to interface with an internationally respected collegial team of physicians with a multitude of training backgrounds. Our robust benefit package goes far beyond a competitive salary. When you join Cleveland Clinic, you will enjoy the best healthcare available, tail coverage, retirement matching, relocation, and education allowances, and many other benefits.
