What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Compliance Program Manager position at Cleveland Clinic?
**Must reside in NE Ohio to qualify. This is a hybrid position: 2 days in office, 3 days WFH. **
Responsibilities:
- Assist the International Compliance Program Director in identifying and implementing international regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to existing and new Cleveland Clinic services, operations, and activities. This includes, but is not limited to, those related to privacy and data protection, anti-trust/competition, anti-corruption, trade compliance, modern slavery, cybersecurity, money laundering, scientific exchange and medical education activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build controls and guide on risk mitigation related to Cleveland Clinic's international services, operations, and activities. This includes helping to facilitate Cleveland Clinic's compliance with applicable international laws, regulations, and best practices by assisting in the development, refinement, and rollout of policies and procedures and assist with associated training and certification activities
- Help to identify compliance risks through the performance and review of auditing and monitoring activities, as well as assist in improving the effectiveness of Cleveland Clinic's governance and internal control activities.
- Participate in project planning, legal and best practice research, data collection and reporting, and other administrative functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- J.D. or Master's degree in Business, Health Care, Finance, or related field preferred
Languages:
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Ability to research and assimilate complex laws and regulations into health care operations.
- In-depth understanding of GDPR, FCPA, and the UK Bribery Act.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of multinational compliance experience, preferably in relation to the health care industry.
- Experience in global compliance programs, specifically related to information privacy (e.g., GDPR), trade compliance, and anti-corruption programs strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Airline travel within and outside of the United States may be required. Must be able to travel by car and airline, with or without accommodation.
- Requires frequent sitting, computer entry and normal or corrected vision with manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
The International Compliance Program Manager is responsible for assisting in the development, management and monitoring of Cleveland Clinic's international compliance requirements and activities. At the direction of the International Compliance Program Director, the International Compliance Program Manager will provide assistance on matters concerning compliance with international laws, regulations and standards, as well as conduct and review auditing and monitoring activities.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $36.80
Maximum hourly: $56.13
