Our IT department is looking to add a System Administrator II to their dedicated team of caregivers. This role is an integral part of the Enterprise Lifecycle Services directive to replace eligible devices at the end of lease cycle. In this position, your duties will include:
• Ensuring workstations and peripherals are maintained at the highest level of availability and reliability.
• Handling LAN administration, installations, email administration, consulting services and problem resolution.
• Assisting staff and management in making Information Systems investments and decisions.
• Providing consulting for your assigned department(s).

Responsibilities:
- Consults on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity.
- Troubleshoots software, hardware, network protocols, workstation and departmental server-related problems.
- Provides second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software and operating systems.
- Acts as primary contact for ongoing support requirements including all hardware components.
- Coordinates workstation purchase decisions based on enterprise standards.
- Recommends, designs, builds and supports PC workstations.
- Builds and maintains detailed workstation documentation including configuration of desktop software and impact of additions, deletions or upgrades to the workstation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Certifications:
- For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.
Complexity of Work:
- Demonstrated knowledge of information systems and small to mid-size (100-700 node) networks.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, interact with all levels of internal and external personnel and excellent customer service.
Work Experience:
- Minimum two years information systems experience.
- Mid-size workstations support experience and server environment is required.
- Experience with personal computer architecture, interface components and telephone systems preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Will be required to frequently move, box, personal computers, 17' monitors, printers and peripherals up to 75 pounds via the use of a two-wheeled cart or dolly.
- May occasionally be required to transport equipment in personal vehicle.
- Requires normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting and manual dexterity to operate computer.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $27.65
Maximum hourly: $42.17
