Job Overview:
We are seeking an Oracle EBS Business Analyst (BA), with experience in both the Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Make to Order, and Record to Report business process flows. EBS modules including (but not limited to): Manufacturing, Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Planning. This BA will serve as a key Functional representative to our manufacturing and distribution divisions and work with our Oracle, Data Analytics, and IT Infrastructure Teams to implement solutions to best support our users now and into the future. In this role, you will be responsible for developing functional requirement specs, test case plans, validating acceptance criteria and documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our internal customers to identify needs and requirements as they fit with the overall Business Plan.
- Leverage expertise and experience to drive change and efficiency.
- Review and analyze existing business processes and develop strategies for improving accuracy and eliminating inefficient tasks.
- Prepare detailed Integration Requirement Specs & Functional Documentation with associated use cases, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents to explain requirements to Development, support teams, partners, and customers.
- Work closely with Developers and Support Team members to clearly communicate requirements. Provide answers to questions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct necessary review sessions with Development, Support Teams, Internal Customers and other Stakeholders.
- Participate in customer calls, visits, and meetings to gather requirements and resolve issues.
- Perform feature validation of functionality, Assist in test script creation as well as end-user documentation.
- Support roll outs and implementations. Serve as primary business contact to partner experts for larger projects.
- Follow product solution into the field to ensure customer success.
- Perform Oracle application configuration settings and options for relevant modules.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to other Oracle and Infrastructure Team projects and participate in Peer Reviews / Change Management Reviews as needed.
- Assist in providing Level 2 support for ERP related issues.
- Work with Level 1 support to transition implemented changes and build the support knowledge base.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Functional experience in key Oracle ERP modules (Manufacturing, Order Management, Sourcing, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Planning including requirements gathering, design, configuration, unit testing and integration testing)
- Experience with at least one full life cycle ERP implementation, ERP applications and business flows
- Oracle design, configuration and hands on experience
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical, design and documentation skills
- Excellent presentation skills in interacting with management and communicating functional vision to all project stakeholders and team members
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Knowledge of WMS, CRM, EDI and Data Warehouse concepts are a plus, Technical development experience (SQL Server, SQL*Plus, APEX, XML, MS SQL) is a plus
- Previous work designing/building complex interfaces is a plus
