Summary: * The Receiving Clerk is responsible for, but not limited to, receiving and examining contents of products with requisitions orders, purchase orders, and invoices to verify accuracy of shipments received. Ensure all stocks in the storeroom are maintained in good condition, conduct inventory as needed. Record data as weight, temperatures, price differences, damages, and discrepancies following standards and procedures for reporting to accounting and for record purposes. The incumbent should have a working knowledge of MS Office products. Knowledge in BirchStreet and Accubar software is a plus. Position requires the ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 1-year of experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
- A flexible schedule is required, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent organizational skills and communication skills are necessary.
- Must be able to work in a high-paced and dynamic operation.
- Must be detailed oriented, excellent computer skills necessary.
- Have a pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner.
- Work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
- Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- The candidate must possess the ability to work well with a team as well as independently without direct supervision.
