The Evaluation Analyst will provide key support on projects that must be carried through for the successful completion of the District’s initiatives. In this support role, the Evaluation Analyst will contribute to the development of CMSD by developing logic models with school-based and central office staff, assist with development of monitoring plans, evaluation of key initiatives, and produce and distribute reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops logic models with content area experts Identifies measures aligned with program goals and outcomes Responds to research requests via the District research portal Performs complex data analysis in support of evaluation efforts and other ad-hoc information requests from internal and external customers/stakeholders Prepares documentation necessary to develop reports for all levels of management and operations and identifies the data elements needed to complete the reports Provides technical expertise on research and evaluation projects and makes suggestions on using technology to improve business process efficiencies. Works with internal stakeholders to help develop standard processes for accessing and examining internal data systems Participates in professional development activities (i.e., meetings, seminars, conferences, etc.) to improve and remain abreast of professional and legislative advancements and innovations. Remains abreast of changing and emerging technologies. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS with experience in survey administration, data analysis, statistical reporting, or similar data-rich work preferred; 1-2 years of experience preferred Experience using quantitative skills to examine and transform large datasets using statistical (R, Stata) and/or database programs (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle). Experience creating SQL queries. Experience using survey software (Qualtrics XM) and administering surveys Experience working with large datasets from multiple source systems Good customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal relationship skills including cultural sensitivity & competence. Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation Proficiency with general office technologies (i.e., PC, tablets, etc.), virtual meeting platforms (i.e., Zoom, Teams, etc.), software packages (i.e., Microsoft Office). Proficiency with enterprise technologies & databases (i.e., Workday, VAX, PowerSchool) online data management systems, and data collection methodology.
