What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greeter / Host position at Clever Koi?
This position is a great introduction to the restaurant industry. It is fast paced and requires a candidate who is friendly, energetic and organized. We're looking for someone bright and energetic to greet our guests as they arrive and orchestrate reservations. Some experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required. If you are an outgoing person, we want to meet you.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Welcome guests and add them to our waitlist
- Seating guests
- Answering phones
- Act as point of contact for guest questions about the restaurant
- Help set up tables for parties
QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1 year restaurant experience preferred, but we are willing to train
- Ability to multitask at all times
- A willingness to learn restaurant platforms
- Hospitable even under pressure
ALL EMPLOYEES ON OUR TEAM NEED:
- Ability to spend long hours standing and walking
- Ability to lift 30-50#
- To work professionally under pressure
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Food Handlers Card
- Title IV Liquor Certification (FOH & Management)
- Maintain a high level of energy for the duration of a shift
