The Opportunity:
Corporate Initiatives Drafter and Surveyor conducts field surveys and produces drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) based on the surveys. You will also partner with various levels of management and outside architectural and MEP resources to help create conceptual designs and plans for office building tenant improvement projects. When not assisting in drafter/surveyor related functions the position will help support the Corporate Initiatives team in office building and tenant improvement related project coordination.

The Opportunity:

When not assisting in drafter/surveyor related functions the position will help support the Corporate Initiatives team in office building and tenant improvement related project coordination.
The Day-to-Day:
- Conducts office building site surveys
- Creates as-is/current state floor plans and drawings of existing office spaces
- Works with management, architects, and MEPS on preliminary conceptual office design sketches
- Supports the Corporate Initiatives team with building related project efforts when not surveying or drafting
- Oversees assigned operational tasks with mid-level complexity through to completion
- Serves as a contact for the team or specific function
- Identifies areas for improvement and recommends and works with management to implement proposed solutions
- Supports the growth of the business through various projects
- Identifies, creates and develops documentation for group
- Follows group and firm procedures
- Responsible for properly handling confidential documents
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- At least 3 years of Surveyor and CAD
- Ability to operate computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Comfortable managing several projects at a time and an effective time manager
- Familiarity with building and city codes or electrical design
- Strong attention to detail when reading and writing to create documentation and reports
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutions
