An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an Engineer Aircraft Ground Equipment - Initial Provisioning (AGE IP) within the Fast Jet Support Organisation at BAE Systems.
This is a challenging and dynamic role where, under the direct leadership/management of the Group Leader AGE IP, where you will be expected to manage personal tasking as allocated to produce/update of IPL data for Typhoon AGE covering all customers. You will be expected to deliver tasks to specified schedules and quality, maintain the relationships and networks in place within Supplier, Eurofighter Partner Company, and Customer communities, provide support to the Group Leader and continue to embed a culture of Continuous Improvement within the team.
There will be the opportunity for periods of travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas, and career progression and development is encouraged within the team and wider business.

What you'll be doing:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Working in accordance with all current Processes and Procedures. In the event that these either do not exist or are found to be incorrect in content, ensure Group Leader is aware that review and revision is required
- Represent BAE Systems at EF/NETMA facing meetings (UK and abroad) associated with the Team role, with guidance from Group Leader
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders (including Suppliers and Customers)
- Investigation of queries from stakeholders
- Assist with ongoing monitoring and reporting of quality
- Support upward reporting against team area of responsibility
- Support provision of accurate predictions of scheduling (time and resource requirements)
- Maintain Enterprise Service Management Systems (ESMS) (JIRA) as required
- Produce IP in support of AGE equipments, to include new items, MOD updates and query driven revisions in accordance with all current Processes and Procedures
Essential:
- Engineering background
- Proven ability to learn new skills quickly
- Disciplined approach to data research
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both as an individual and as part of a team
- Experience of working in a Support role
- Knowledge of ESMS (JIRA)
- Knowledge/experience of compilation to ASD S2000M
