Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care, excellent clinical skills, surgical skills and a commitment to providing the best possible service to our clients and their pets. We have an onsite x-ray machine, inhouse laboratory, ultrasound equipment, multiparameter, dental machine, 3 consultation rooms including a separate euthanasia room, separate dog and cat ward. The parking is located at the side of the building.
Key Responsibilities:
Physical examinations and diagnostic tests
Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions
Perform surgical procedures, including routine and emergency surgeries
Provide preventative care, including vaccinations and health advice
Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with Veterinary nurses and support staff
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Efficiently leading a small team
Qualifications:
MRCVS
Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic (does not have to be as sole charge)
Diagnostic and surgical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
