The role:

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll be reporting into the Managing Director, US, to help build our reputation and customer base in the US, with the strong support of a highly driven sales team.

You will develop lasting relationships with our current and prospective customers to build our business within the US. You will use your skills to research, identify and qualify new business opportunities and proactively create demand by engaging with the right communities.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who innovatively tackles all opportunities with a consultative and value orientated approach. This person will be a strategic thinker, who demonstrates high energy and is awesome at closing the deal!

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a similar EdTech role and have an acute awareness of the needs of US educators.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Research, identify and qualify new business opportunities and proactively create demand by engaging with the right communities
  • Inbound and outbound prospect calls and activity in order to be able to establish meaningful contact
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, and tailor pitches to address the specific needs and challenges of potential customers
  • Build and manage a pipeline that will result in targets being met or exceeded
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of ClickView to close deals and securing contracts
  • Identify and engage influencers and decision makers within each district
  • Manage the Salesforce CRM database and provide accurate reports
  • Attend events, create bespoke campaigns and act as a brand advocate for ClickView
  • Form relationships with potential customers, increasing the awareness and presence of ClickView, and embrace the benefits of video in the classroom

Requirements:

  • 7 years sales experience
  • EdTech experience highly regarded
  • Target driven individual whilst also being a genuine team player
  • A self-starter with a successful track record of delivering excellence in new business and sales development, customer experience and strategy
  • Time and territory management experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customers on a regular basis
  • A data driven mindset and ability to analyze sales metric to reflect on areas for growth and development
  • Experience with Salesforce and CRM database management is beneficial
