LOCATION: This position is a hybrid role, based in Twin Falls, Idaho or Indianapolis, IN at the Clif Bar Plant.
Mission: Perform data analysis and create KPIs, visualizations, and models that provide visibility into our manufacturing facilities, including production, sanitation, maintenance, waste, etc.
Responsibilities & Outcomes:
- Ensure personal safety, food safety and quality protocols are followed.
- Implements and creates accurate reports, models, dashboards, Key Performance Indicators [KPIs], and other analytic tools, including ad hoc analysis, to provide visibility into our manufacturing facilities.
- Issues appropriate communication of analytics, including timely delivery, distribution, communication vehicle, etc.
- Collaborates and builds strong relationships with Bakery and Supply Chain teams, to deeply understand the teams’ processes, systems, and business needs.
- Implements and identifies ongoing continuous improvement opportunities in analysis, including choosing optimal data sources, use of optimal analytic tools/ software, data engineering recommendations, information gathering, appropriate analysis distribution, proper sharing, the documentation of these processes, and in other areas.
- Partner with Supply Chain Finance to validate productivity improvement and other operational efficiency impacts.
- Examples of some key KPIs / reporting areas:
- Overall Equipment Efficiency [OEE] and other OEE elements at both bakeries
- Yield and Waste
- Line throughput
- Line downtime analysis
- Completes special projects as required and other duties, including teammate work coverage.
What You Bring:

- Demonstrated familiarity with MES / ERP / planning system / Supply Chains, and at least 3 years of experience creating analytic visualizations and summaries, based on complex data sources, utilizing any of the following tools: MS Excel, MS Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, SQL, etc.
- Quickly understand and anticipate the needs of stakeholders, successfully translating that into relevant analysis / analytic tools and implementing appropriate, audience-relevant communications.
- Highly proficient at seeking out information (being curious!), consistently demonstrating a strong commitment to data and analytics integrity, achieving results, and a process-oriented approach to analysis.
- Be results-oriented, well organized, and attentive to details, with the ability to complete assignments timely and accurately, juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities as needed.
- Communicate effectively, frequently, and proactively with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of, and a strong capability to learn, manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Have a passion for excellence and comfort working in a highly collaborative, results-driven environment.
- The ability to travel to the non-local bakery, as well as other CLIF or Mondelēz locations should be expected, up to 30% to 50% of time.
- Bachelor's Degree in statistics, computer science or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of related experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment a plus.
Salary Range for this role: $91,000/yr-$113,750/yr
