Position: Count Attendant

Department: Finance

Wage: 18.00/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of the drop and count processes for Table Games and gaming machines ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions, and company policies, procedures, and controls.

DUTIES:

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of equipment used in counting coin and currency.
  • Remove bill validator cans from slot machines and replace with empty bill validator cans and put cans into carts.
  • Transport all monies into the Count Room.
  • Count, verify, and strap all currency.
  • Transfer all currency and chips into the Vault.
  • In all operations, ensure the integrity of all Count transactions to include accuracy and thoroughness of operations and applicable paperwork.
  • Keep Count Supervisor informed of all pertinent information regarding count activities and any irregularities.
  • Develop a working knowledge of equipment, software and hardware necessary to perform count team duties within 90 days.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required.

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a. Operate a 10-key adding machine efficiently and accurately.

b. Perform basic math computations accurately.

c. Be computer literate.

d. Able to follow oral and written instructions.

e. Pass any applicable tests.

4. Be at least 18 years of age.

5. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
