What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Cliff Drysdale/PBI?
Ideal candidates must be authorized to work in the United States or is a U. S. Citizen. Candidates are positive, able to work in small or large groups, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. As a Program Director, you are responsible for all areas, both on and off court, to the success and operation of your program. Working within the framework of Cliff Drysdale Management, the Program Director will plan, promote, activate, train, supervise and grow the program that they oversee in along with the leadership and education for the growth of the pros/staff in or supporting the program. Previous golf industry experience is a requirement for the position.
Pay Range: $16 - $40 / hr
Position Summary:
Provides the ultimate tennis experience by providing the highest quality tennis instruction and customer service. Teaches various tennis programs to include junior programs, lessons, special events and clinics.

Responsibilities
- Fulfill all the expectations and essential duties of a CDT tennis professional laid out in the job description
- May assist in developing pros both on and off court. This is both in formal and informal action
- Activate, engage and support all areas of the CDT companywide programs and pathways and train your staff on all areas
- May ensure that teaching pro time sheets are completed and turned in on time each week and accurate
- Schedule up to 10 hours of program growth/management time off the court each week which entails administrative program work, social media work, promotional events and outreach inside and outside the club., scheduled in line with the club program goals
- Teach a minimum of 5 hours per week of the program
- Create a regular schedule of hours that you are on-site
- Encourage all members/guest to participate in various activities by promoting events and programs at the facility
- Completes the CDT OFF COURT Program director core competencies and follows CDT procedures
- Positive and engaged team member with a goal to grow their skill development and those around them
- Performs other duties as required
Education and Experience Requirements
- At least a high school education or GED
- Regularly required to reach with arms and hands
- Often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects
- Occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs occasionally
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate
- Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
- Work weekends and holidays
