Desired skills:
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS XE, IOS XR, ASA, FTD, PAN OS etc.
Excellent experience on network Security platforms such as Cisco ASA, Firepower FTDs and Palo Alto
In-depth understanding of core Routing and Switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and VXLAN, STP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VLAN, remote access and site to site VPN etc.
Experience and expertise in working on industry standard devices and technologies like Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, Juniper, etc.
Experience in network performance monitoring tools such as Solarwinds NPM/NCM, Thousandeyes etc.
Good communication skills and awareness of ITIL knowledge
Job Description:
Routing, switching & Security
Install, configure and maintain various network devices and services like Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load balancers, VPN, QoS, etc.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages.
Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects.
Work with partners to ensure that their networks are configured and maintained to support the levels of availability required.
Knowledge on Network loadbalancers such as Citrix Netscaler , F5
Concrete knowledge on implementing and configuring Cisco Wireless LAN controller, autonomous and light weight access point, DHCP configuration, upgrade procedures of WLC
Configuration of SSID, layer3 authentication method, guest access and web authentication,
Troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues related connectivity, coverage, and authentication.
