What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Driver position at Climate Pros?
Job Summary:
Main duties would include (but are not limited to) keeping the warehouse in order, pulling orders for technician's truck inventory, and delivering parts to technicians on-site in the greater Chicagoland area.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering parts/inventory required to support the Service Technicians
Review appropriate documentation for delivery or pick up of goods to ensure accurate information is correct
Load, secure and unload material
Follow CPI Safe preferred work methods at all times, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions
Maintain logs of travel as required according to federal and state regulations
Inspect and maintain vehicle, adding fluids and oil as needed
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Plan driving routes to insure the most economical use of time and equipment
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Must be 21 or older
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must pay attention to detail and be organized
Ability to drive in various road conditions safely
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma/ GED
2 years of warehouse delivery experience
Computer knowledge must include: MS Office- Word, Excel and Outlook
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand; walk; climb; carry; bend; kneel; reach; push; pull and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; noise level is medium/low.
