Production Machinist - Programmer

Climco Coils is seeking an experienced Production Machinist - Programmer. With approximately twenty-five CNC Machining Centers, Swiss Turning Centers, CNC lathes & Multispindle turning centers, Climco is seeking an individual to support the production machining department with programming, setup, training & process improvements.

Job Duties:

• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
• Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
• Set up machinery for production.
• Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
• Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
• Training new staff on machine operation procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Experience/Education/Skill Requirements:

• Required - Experience in Programming (1 year)
• Required - Experience working with CNC Mills and Lathes
• Strongly Preferred- graduated from an accredited apprenticeship program or certification.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Work within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, heat, cold, non-toxic fumes, and chemicals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
