Job Summary
ClinChoice is looking for Director, Finance to join our US Finance team at the Fort Washington, PA office. The Director position is a key role for the organization and is responsible for managing all financial functions and support such as financial operations, consolidation, and reporting, as well as external audit and tax compliance. ClinChoice is a MNC and a critical part of this position is working closely with our finance teams in all foreign subsidiaries to ensure accurate consolidated financials.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all accounting operations such as accounts payable, billing and collections, payroll, and cash flow activities.
- Manage month-end and year-end close in a timely and accurate fashion; document and maintain adequate reviews, account reconciliation and G/L analysis for adequate controls; Identify new opportunities to improve the close process and reporting timeline.
- Manage financial consolidation of ClinChoice US and subsidiaries across multiple geographies and legal entities. Prepare, review, and reconcile consolidated financial statements following the standards of GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee and participate in revenue recognition policy review, documentation, and financial analysis.
- Primary responsibility for US financial audit and serve as the main point of contact supporting all audit request and timelines.
- Assist with US tax return and transfer-pricing compliance.
- Coordinate with cross-border finance and operational teams to help improve and standardize financial operations in global ERP.
- Recruit, manage and develop accounting staffs.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and handle numerous multifaceted financial matters with strong sense of urgency.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field; MBA preferred
- CPA certification and Big 4 audit experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience required
- Experience in managing multi-national accounting operations required
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, working experience with a global ERP system preferred
- Working experience in life science and CRO space preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to manage projects, allocate resources and collaborate across disciplines and locations; Self-motivated and independent, detail oriented, strong work ethic
