The CNO will join a well-established, full-service community hospital and oversee exceptional department leaders and staff. This community hospital has served the Western Oregon Coastal area for over 60 years. Both inpatient and outpatient services are offered, ranging from emergency to radiology to cardiopulmonary and also specialty rural health clinics. With the mission of ensuring patients receive optimal care, every employee puts patient safety and health first.
The CNO will work closely with and be under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer. As Chief Nursing Officer, the departments that report directly will be Clinic Nursing, Emergency Services, Surgical Services, Pharmacy, and several others. The CNO will be supported by directors in every department who will oversee the staff and will participate in weekly meetings to ensure every department is functioning properly. The CNO will also meet regularly with other hospital executives to discuss goals and objectives the hospital needs to meet to ensure its success for staff and patients.
The hospital's Chief Nursing Officer will assure that the nursing administration team executes optimal care daily while taking into account the hospital's Mission, Vision, and Values. The CNO must also ensure all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are being met for each department. The CNO will have the opportunity to manage the budget for nursing administration to confirm each department has the fiscal needs to be successful.
