This opening for an Acute Care Services Nurse Manager is with a 90 patient bed medical center. The Acute Care Services Nurse Manager will be joining a team that has earned Joint Commission Accreditation, been recognized as one of Newsweek's Best In State Hospitals of 2024, and has received a Women's Choice Award.
In the role of Acute Care Nurse Manager, this nursing leader will provide leadership and direction to the hospital in the areas of Critical Care Services and Emergency Services. This Nurse Manager will mentor and train the ICU and Emergency Department Registered Nurses. Further responsibilities include personnel management, identifying performance improvement initiatives, policy revision, and upholding the highest level of patient care. This Nurse Manager of Acute Care Services will report to the Chief Nurse Executive.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a valid and unrestricted Registered Nursing License, 5 years of experience in Acute Care Services (MedSurg, Emergency, Critical Care, and / or Labor and Delivery) in the hospital setting, and displayed leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or Manager.
